Room Air Purifiers Or Whole House Purifiers. Which One Do I Get?

Whole house air purifiers, on the other hand, are designed to purify the air throughout the whole house. Do you go for room air purifiers or whole house?

Again you need to consider your needs. Do you really need to purify the whole house? Why are you using air purifiers? Will one or two room air cleaners be sufficient?

For example lets say you are looking at air purification for a member of the household with allergies. Which rooms does that person spend their time in? Can you use a couple of room air purifiers to operate in those rooms?

Generally speaking room air purifiers are considered to be more cost efficient than whole house air cleaners. Whole house air cleaners are expensive. They are generally designed to operate with your central heating or air conditioning system, and are less cost effective than targetting specific rooms with room air cleaners.

They are, however, less obvious as they are out of sight whereas you may find that room air purifiers are a little unsightly in each room.

Which one do I get?

As we say, that depends on what you want to achieve. So what you need to do is to sit down and nut out your needs. Exactly what are you trying to achieve? Are you prepared to spend quite a bit to get whole house? Are you bothered that room air purifiers are visible in the room?
