So before looking at the best air purifiers have a look at your needs. Why do you want an air purifier? What are you trying to achieve? What area do you want your air purifier to cover?

Are you, for example, looking for a whole house air purifier or just looking to use your air purifier for one room only? The best air purifiers for one may not be the best air cleaners for the other.

Do you suffer from ashtma or allergies? If so the best air purifiers for you may be air cleaners which emit no ozone, however if you have no particular health complaint and just want cleaner air then this may not be so important.

Which Ones Should I Look At?

However if you are looking for the best air purifiers there are some you should always consider. Unfortunately, like all things, the best ones are the most expensive, and so as previously explained, may not be necessary for you.

If you can afford it always look at the IQAir line of machines. Hospital quality and excellent air purifiers. Certainly right up there amongst the best air cleaners, if not the best, but not cheap. The IQAir Cleanroom Series H13 Air Purifiers are wonderful air purifiers, but at $1600 or so not everyone can afford them.

Consider also the Clarifier range of air purifiers. Very good but not as expensive as IQAir.
